Cruden Group chose to work with Datatech when they needed a Managed Print Solution that would enable them to reduce costs effectively, gain more control of the documents being printed and enable them to create a rationalised print strategy moving forward.
By recommending and installing four Konica Minolta machines with Y Soft Safe Q, Datatech delivered a bespoke solution for Cruden Group. All desktop printers have been replaced with cost effective, multifunctional printers. The new Y Soft – Safe Q Print Management software has given Cruden Group increased control over all print activity and given full visibility on print costs by implementing default to mono printing, duplex printing as standard and secure user identification.
The new print management solution at Cruden Group will deliver savings of £63,465 over the 5-year agreement.
Datatech were able to:
- Remove the need for expensive and outdated desktop printer being used within small and single occupancy offices
- Reduce service charges by providing a transparent and honest servicing agreement as part of the leasing agreement
- Reduce paper usage by implementing mono print and duplex printing as a default setting across the full fleet
- Provide a full print management service which includes regular reporting and analysis and an ongoing commitment to efficiency improvements.
“We have not only reduced our copying costs but have also made great savings on paper purchases due to the print solutions recommended to us by Datatech.
“The after sales service from Datatech has been excellent. All toner cartridges and accessories are delivered automatically before they are due to be changed. If we have required an engineer for whatever reason (which is not often… as they’re very efficient) they are here within less than 24 hours.”
