Back in 2017, our customer, a financial services organisation, regularly sent off promotional communications to existing and potential clients but they themselves also received a considerable amount of post each day. As one of the largest financial professionals in the area, they were keen to learn more about solutions that would not only provide an efficient and cost effective managed print solution, but also support their ambitious growth plan and give them competitive advantage against similar businesses nationally.

Having completed a full audit across their main head office and regional offices, we discovered that a significant amount of time was required each day to manage all of the internal post entering the building. Their mail room of 8 staff would open, scan and distribute all of the communications accordingly, before moving to dealing with all communications being sent externally.

We were able to:

  • Recommend and implement a full document management solution
  • Enable information to be captured at the source regardless of format, followed by appropriate distribution or storage
  • Improved efficiencies via economics of scale, with improved production and less labour-intensive processes
  • Improved response time to clients, reducing wait times and increasing customer sign-ups and retention.
